WOODAPPLE POD (Limonia acidissima)

Woodapple pods are small pods that work great as shelters and release tannins 

These little pods are great for fish shrimp frogs spiders inverts beatles and more 

we have had corydoras lay eggs in and on them aswell as bettas making it there home they are a fantastic pod to give that natural feel to your setup

Botanicals are not just great for tannin your water they have fantastic health benifits such as they have antibacterial propertys stress relieving antifungal propertys aid in breeding natural food source and natural hiding places

Botanicals can be added straight away into your aquarium where they will float for a while or until they sink to the bottom
To speed up this process you can boil the botanicals for a couple of minutes.
Over time the botanicals will slowly degrade and can remain in your aquarium
