Mangrove leaves are an excellent leaf litter that you can use in your terrarium vivarium or aquarium

They also make a tasty treat for your isopods and springtails in a bioactive terrarium setup and great hiding places 

Mangrove leaves come from the Rhizophora mangle (Red Mangrove Tree)

Their leaves are thick and will last a long time in an aquarium or terrarium and did we say how good they look with vibrant colours another 1 of natures finest creations 

Leaf litte will not only help with providing a natural appearance 

The leaves will also provide great hiding spots for animals such as dart frogs and small reptiles even snakes will enjoy hiding under the leaf litter 

Botanicals are not just great for tannin your water they have fantastic health benifits such as they have antibacterial propertys stress relieving antifungal propertys aid in breeding natural food source and natural hiding places

Botanicals can be added straight away into your aquarium where they will float for a while or until they sink to the bottom
To speed up this process you can boil the botanicals for a couple of minutes.
Over time the botanicals will slowly degrade and can remain in your aquarium
