Lotus petals are unique in appearance and an excellent option for simulating the biotope of fish and shrimps in the aquarium they have the added feature of bringing some great natural colour to the aquarium terrarium with hints of pinks purples 

Botanicals are not just great for tannin your water they have fantastic health benifits such as they have antibacterial propertys stress relieving antifungal propertys aid in breeding natural food source and natural hiding places

Botanicals can be added straight away into your aquarium where they will float for a while or until they sink to the bottom
To speed up this process you can boil the botanicals for a couple of minutes.
Over time the botanicals will slowly degrade and can remain in your aquarium
